How To Make Delicious Food

These vegan chocolate chip rolls are a sweet twist on my vegan cinnamon rolls, as I'm a huge chocolate lover, so of course I had to take these up a level!

There is literally absolutely nothing better than a warm batch of cinnamony-chocolatey rolls fresh out of the oven! My family went nuts over these! I really hope you give these a try, because they are BOMB!! These rolls are so super easy to make, and making them is completely worth the wait, I guarantee it! Not to mention that despite these being vegan they are just as dang good as non vegan rolls, and you or anyone you share them with will most definitely not suspect a thing!

Ingredients 
Dough
1/2 cup warm water
2 tsp sugar
1 sachet dry yeast
1/3 cup vegan margarine
1/2 soy milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 3/4 cup flour + extra
Filling
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 chocolate chips
1 tbsp vegan margarine
Method:
1. In a large bowl place the warm water, 2 tsp sugar and yeast and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
2. In another bowl place the margarine and soy milk in the microwave or over a stove top, then mix in the sugar. Pour this into the yeast mixture and whisk until fully combined.
3. Then add in the flour and mix into a thick dough and knead for 10 minutes. Then place back into the bowl and cover with a tea towel and leave to store in a warm place for 2 hours.
4. Once the dough has doubled in size, remove and knead for 5 minutes. Then roll the dough out into a large thin square. In a small bowl mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
5. Brush the dough with the vegan margarine or butter, then top with the cinnamon sugar mix. The sprinkle over the chocolate chips and press into the dough.
6. Roll the dough from the shorter end, and slice with a sharp knife.
7. Brush a baking tin with some vegan margarine, and place the rolls into the tin. Cover with a tea towel and leave to rise for 40 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 18- degrees C, and place the rolls in. Bake for around 20-25 minutes or until firm to the touch and brown.
9. Remove, dust with some icing sugar and serve when warm!


Super delicious, best when served fresh!
