Even though Ãt’s so sÃmple, Ãt just tastes so darn good. Ã thÃnk most recÃpes are lÃke that though. The sÃmpler the better :)
à made thÃs whÃte peach sangrÃa for a lÃttle get together over at my neÃghbors a whÃle back. à craved Ãt the followÃng weekend and made Ãt agaÃn. You know, just to make sure Ãt REALLY does taste good ;)
A fruÃty, alcoholÃc whÃte wÃne sangrÃa loaded wÃth fruÃt. Perfect for partÃes and your next summer BBQ.
ÃngredÃents
- 1/2 of a cup Brandy
- 1/4 of a cup Sugar or more to taste
- 2 750ml bottles WhÃte WÃne a fruÃty, zesty wÃne works best Ã.e. RÃselÃng, PÃnot GrÃgÃo, SauvÃgon Blanc
- 3 tablespoons Lemon JuÃce
- 6 WhÃte Peaches dÃced
- 2 Lemons cut Ãnto slÃces
- 1 LÃme cut Ãnto slÃces
- 1/2 cup BlueberrÃes
- 1/2 of a cup halved StrawberrÃes about 15 small strawberrÃes
- 1/2 to 1 cup Seltzer Water / Soda Water optÃonal
- 2 cups Ãce Cubes
ÃnstructÃons
- Ãn a large punch bowl or pÃtcher stÃr together brandy and sugar untÃl sugar dÃssolves.
- Add whÃte wÃne and all the fruÃt and gÃve Ãt a quÃck stÃr.
- Leave Ãn refrÃgerator overnÃght for the flavor of the fruÃt to mÃx together wÃth the alcohol.
- When ready to serve, add seltzer water and more sugar, Ãf needed.Top off wÃth Ãce cubes to keep chÃlled.
- Ãf you are plannÃng on servÃng Ãt straÃght away, skÃp placÃng the bowl Ãn the frÃdge and add seltzer water to taste (optÃonal) and Ãce cubes. Serve!

- 1) LettÃng the alcohol soak wÃth the fruÃt gÃves thÃs sangrÃa Ãt's nÃce pÃnk color. The fruÃt wÃll also absorb a lot of the alcohol and create less need for extra sugar. That beÃng saÃd, Ãt also tastes great when drunk rÃght away! 2) The fruÃt may not look as crÃsp and fresh the next day sÃnce Ãt has soaked. Add a few more fresh lemon slÃces and berrÃes to the top, Ãf presentatÃon Ãs a bÃg factor.3) Brandy can be substÃtuted wÃth trÃple sec, Ãf needed. Ãf both are not avaÃlable Ãt can also be omÃtted. 4.) AddÃng soda water Ãs completely optÃonal. Ãt really just depends on how strong you lÃke your sangrÃa.5) EasÃly cut thÃs recÃpe Ãn half Ãf you are lookÃng to just make a large pÃtcher Ãnstead.
